About the performers
Fraser Hooper

Recently starred at the 2020 Auckland International Buskers festival. After a fantastic year in 2019 where Fraser won The Iron Chicken award at The Christchurch Bread and Circus World Buskers Festival New Zealand, Silver at The Saint Paul Des Lax Circus Festival in France and played many new festivals plus some old favourites. 2020 is going to be an important one for Fraser as it will mark thirty years of mucking about for a living as a clown. Not bad for an ex menswear manager from North London.

In January Fraser also started rehearsals with great friends Sachie Mikawa and Trent Baumann on our debut Wellington Fringe show Oddacity at Bats Theatre.

Mr Fungus

Visual & verbal comedy, mime and juggling combined with cat-swinging and dog-celebrating. NZ’s Loudest Mime MR FUNGUS has a flair for the ridiculous, and has played at virtually every type of festival and function, across more than a dozen countries in 30+ years… Actor and entertainer Fergus Aitken is an award-winning MC, street performer, comedian and corporate presenter with numerous other acts and characters besides MR FUNGUS. He is also a leading teacher of physical theatre and mime, regularly giving workshops across NZ and further afield. Fergus is fascinated by people and the spaces between them.

Vinyl Burns Rock n Roll Circus show

World class, blistering diabolo juggling and wry, self-deprecating magical illusion and physical comedy, building to a climax of live rock-guitar anthems and high altitude 80’s hair-rock singalong finale.

Brimming with inept sophistication, extreme stunts and surprisingly polished skills, Vinyl rides in hot pursuit of his destiny… to deliver a glittering, escapist adventure just for you.

It’s dramatic, silly, beautiful and hilarious…

"Fred Dagg, Dame Edna, Dr. Vinyl Burns, Les Patterson... some of the greatest alter egos..."

Nemone Metaxas, BBC 6music

"He is stinking hilarious"

Madison Watkins, America's Got Talent finalist
